We invite you to experience "The Music Between," an extraordinary performance featuring four remarkable artists—Misagh Zamani, Ria Soemardjo, Vinod Prasanna, and Rosa Voto. This collaboration celebrates the rich tapestry of musical traditions as they intersect and evolve, bridging cultures from Iran to Indonesia, India to Italy.
Misagh Zamani, a virtuoso who masterfully plays 16 instruments including the clarinet and Persian bagpipes, leads this unique endeavor. Ria Soemardjo’s haunting vocals reflect her Australian-Indonesian heritage, while Vinod Prasanna enchants audiences with his evocative bansuri melodies. Rosa Voto brings a fusion of Italian and Mediterranean traditions, creating a mesmerizing auditory experience.
Together, these four talented artists explore the profound connections within their diverse musical legacies, showcasing what is possible when creativity thrives in an open and collaborative environment. Join us for this celebration of cultural interaction and musical evolution.
Alchemy Duo (Special Guests)
Jordan Scotney & Michael Arvanitakis are a dynamic duo who fuse a variety of genres to create a rich and dynamic tapestry. Their performances feature elements of world music, neoclassical, minimalism and funk. With piano, cello, sitar, percussion & tasteful looping, they will take you on a journey from the meditative to the ecstatic.
