2020 Update

Ticket holders

As much as we look forward to turning the stage lights on, ringing the bells for you to take your seats and checking your tickets the ongoing impact of COVID19 on public gatherings means that sadly the show can not go on in 2020.   The safety of our patrons, performers, staff and volunteers is paramount to us so all performances in 2020 have been postponed.  If you have a ticket to any of these shows you will be contacted regarding a refund.

Friends of Burrinja

Those of you who have current Friends of Burrinja memberships for 2020 will have your membership automatically extended to June 30 2021, and any unused benefits will also be made available to you.

Where Complexity meets Simplicity

Join us for a trip down the complex simplicity found in the musical journey of Burrinja's new Creative Director & CEO, Gareth Hart.

Between The Silence

Filmed in the Burrinja Theatre in early 2019, this video is of the live performance installation & was premiered just this past Sunday, September 6th.

In response to LOST FEW's album Between the Silence. This live performance installation is a visceral exploration of natural environments and its relationship to physical space. Exploring the physicality of natural environments, the brutality and beauty contained within and how that responds and reflects violence and masculinity.

Please listen using headphones 🎧 for the complete experience.

Sneak Peek Tour

The first week of August 2020 was the week that we had hoped to be welcoming people back through the doors of Burrinja. Alas that is not possible with Stage 4 restrictions keeping us all safely in our respective 5km bubbles. Not to be deterred from our excitement at the redevelopment we wanted to share with you a sneak peek inside Burrinja.
