If your teen loves drama, wants to explore new ideas, or just needs a fun, creative outlet, Curtain Up is the perfect fit. Our group for ages 15 and up is welcoming to everyone, whether they've been on stage for years or are just starting to find their confidence.

Curtain Up is all about challenging yourself in a supportive environment. We encourage everyone to try new things, share their ideas, and work together. Every voice matters, and there's always room for laughter and learning.

What Happens in Act Up?

We go deeper into acting, creativity, and teamwork, but you don’t need to be a theatre expert - just bring your curiosity and a willingness to join in!

During the term, your child will:

• Tackle Interesting Scenes and Themes: We look at different scripts and stories, from funny to thought-provoking, and talk about what they mean to us.
• Build Voice and Communication Skills: Learn fun exercises to help project your voice and speak clearly—skills that help both on and off stage.
• Explore Movement and Dance: We use movement to tell stories and try out some dance elements, but in a relaxed way that suits everyone.
• Learn About Theatre Styles: Discover how different plays and performances work, from old favourites to new ideas.
• Work Together: We focus on supporting each other and growing as a team. Everyone’s input is valued, and you’ll get to both teach and learn from your peers.
