A playful class for kids who love to get dramatic (or just want to give it a try).

Is your child constantly putting on shows in the living room? Or perhaps they are a bit shy and need a safe place to find their voice? Act Up is the perfect starting point for young performers aged 8 to 10.

At Dee's Drama Classes, we believe that drama is about more than just acting; it is about discovering who you are. Each week is packed with games, laughter, and a dash of stage magic. Kids get to explore what makes them unique, try out new ideas, and grow their confidence in a place where being a bit wacky is definitely encouraged.

What Happens in Act Up?

We mix playful activities with real drama know-how so kids get the best of both worlds.

During the term, your child will:

• Scene Play: Partner up and act out scenes, sometimes with scripts, sometimes by making it up as you go.
• Invent Crazy Characters: Ever wanted to pretend to be a pirate, a superhero, or someone totally new? Here’s their chance.
• Let Creativity Shine: We love improv games and storytelling. Kids can unleash their silliest and most creative selves.
• Learn Cool Showbiz Skills: Without it ever feeling like homework, we introduce basics like song, movement, and understanding simple scripts. It’s all about having a go and seeing what happens!

Best of all, Act Up is about making real-life friends while pretending to be all sorts of characters. Teamwork, giggles, and cheering each other on are all part of the adventure.
