At Dee's Drama Classes, we believe that drama is about more than just acting; it is about discovering who you are. In this energetic weekly class, students step into a world of creativity where they can explore new ideas and make lasting friendships.

What Happens in Act Up?

This class is designed to bridge the gap between creative play and performance skills. We move beyond simple games into structured dramatic techniques, all while keeping the atmosphere fun and supportive.

During the term, your child will:

• Explore Scene Work: Students learn how to work with a partner, read cues, and bring a script to life.
• Create Unique Characters: We dive into character development, teaching kids how to step into someone else's shoes and see the world from a different perspective.
• Harness Creativity: Through improvisation and storytelling, we encourage students to think on their feet and trust their instincts.
• Build Technical Skills: We introduce the foundations of song, movement, and script analysis, giving students a well-rounded introduction to the performing arts.

Most importantly, Act Up is about making connections. As they work together on scenes and exercises, students learn teamwork and empathy, building a strong sense of self-confidence that stays with them long after the class ends.
