Exploring climate, connection and the future through music

This unique concert experience explores themes of climate change through an evocative combination of music and spoken word, inviting audiences to reflect on the beauty of our natural environment, the challenges of a human-made world, and the hope of a sustainable future.

A special feature of the program will be a newly commissioned work for flute, oboe, bassoon, violin, viola and cello by Los Angeles-based Australian composer Anton Manuel, written specifically to reflect environmental beauty and hope for the future. This will be performed alongside Inventi arrangements for sextet of Respighi’s Pines of Rome & Fountains of Rome, as well as iconic Australian composers Ross Edwards and Caerwen Martin.
