Meet the Makers Hidden in the Hills!

Now in its 24th year, the iconic Dandenong Ranges Open Studios offers visitors a unique opportunity to step inside the studios of local artists and discover where their creative ideas come to life.

Across two weekends in April 2027, more than 40 artists and studios across the Dandenong Ranges will open their doors, inviting visitors to meet the artists, explore their creative spaces and experience the incredible diversity of art and making in our community

Over the coming months, we’ll announce the participating artists and studios, along with the events and workshops that will form the full program. The program will also include a group exhibition in Burrinja’s Main Gallery, featuring work by all participating professional artists. We’ll also unveil the artwork that will become the creative identity for DROS 2027. The complete program will be available online and in our pocket program, launching in December 2026.
