Introduction to Screen Printing with Mark Westaway

It's back, better than ever

Back by popular demand and extended due to participant feedback, this six-hour workshop introduces the fundamentals of screen-printing using hand-cut stencils (masks) and water-based inks.

Participants will learn the essentials of this quick and versatile medium while creating and taking home an edition of four original two-colour prints on paper.

All equipment and materials are provided. Please bring an art smock, apron or old shirt to protect your clothing.

Facilitator Mark Westaway from Gumboot Graphics is a freelance graphic designer, artist and font designer who has had a 50+ year love affair with the medium of silk screen printing and is passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience to inspire others.
