Designed for anyone with a passion for nature, conservation and environmental storytelling, this workshop explores how art can deepen our understanding of the landscapes and ecosystems we value most. Whether you're an artist, nature lover or simply curious about slowing down and observing the world around you, you'll leave with a unique artwork and a fresh perspective.

Guided by Sharon, you'll create a personal visual story in the form of a scroll, inspired by a place in nature that holds meaning for you. Through drawing, observation and thoughtful storytelling, you'll develop a beautiful artwork that captures your connection to the environment, something to treasure, share with family and friends, and continue developing long after the workshop.

As part of the experience, Sharon will share her extraordinary long-term environmental art project, which began on Earth Hour Day in 2022 and will continue until Earth Day 2030. The evolving scroll documents a daily drawing or painting of a different species, creating a powerful visual record that celebrates biodiversity while highlighting the importance of conservation in an era of climate change.

About Sharon

An experienced botanical artist and educator, Sharon has led workshops throughout Australia and internationally, and has exhibited widely across the country. Her practice is inspired by the resilience, beauty and interconnectedness of plants and their environmental partners, encouraging others to slow down, observe closely and discover the remarkable stories found in the natural world.
