Let your imagination go wild and be guided to create your own, detailed cardboard building.
This workshop is for individuals seeking a unique and inspiring experience where you can tap into their creativity in a fun, guided and supported space.
Participants will be guided through the process of selecting an image of a building of their choice and then constructing a version of it, using cardboard, scissors and glue.
All participants will leave with a captivating, personal creation that is a direct portal to a magical world of their own making.
Elizabeth Gleeson is known for creating large-scale, patterned murals, highly intricate fine art, and beautifully detailed cardboard village sculptures. Known for her large-scale murals and intricate fine art, distinctly recognisable due to her patterned, contemporary take on a folk-nouveau style.
A highly versatile artist, as comfortable working on multi-storey building walls as she is in the studio on canvas and sculptural works, Gleeson seeks to achieve harmoniously balanced compositions, rich in layered sentiment and complexity, translating chaos into order through pattern and symmetry and creating both 2D and 3D spaces in which she and her audience can temporarily inhabit upon viewing.
All materials provided, however a list of items to bring if you have them will be emailed to participants upon booking.
