Nestled among the treetops of lush Ferny Creek, Russian-born Tatiana’s batik studio is a tranquil haven where art and nature intertwine.
Surrounded by green gardens, visitors can watch her create exquisite silk panels, lampshades, scarves, and interior textiles that blend European batik traditions with the colours and spirit of the Australian landscape—a truly inspiring creative experience.
Tatiana is passionate about sharing her knowledge with anyone interested in this art form and offers visitors an opportunity to try it for themselves.

“Through my art and teaching, I strive to embody warmth and professionalism, fostering meaningful cultural connection through creative practice."
— Tatiana Zaslavskaia
