Email the Sherbrooke Art SocietySherbrooke Art Society - a group of artists working in a range of mediums, subjects & styles. Including atmospheric watercolour landscape paintings, detailed drawings of native birds nestled in foliage, realistic botanical paintings, and sculptural works in wood, ceramics, and textiles.
Our Artist in Residence, Jeffrey Murphy, creates stunning still life in oil, inspired by the beauty of nature.
Through the 100-year-old doors into the main room, featuring several artists at work with paints, coloured pencils, and pastels, surrounded by a display of artworks.

We all love being in the creative zone, which is what draws us together as a group. We are inspired by special moments - dappled light on the forest floor, sun setting over the hills, dew drops on flowers or bright colours of our native birds. We especially like working from life, which connects us with our subjects.
