Rémy is a French furniture maker inspired by mid-century modern and American Windsor traditions.
Having been in the field of woodworking for 27 years and undertaking a 10-year apprenticeship as a journeyman in Europe, learning traditional ways of crafting, Rémy has creates refined, handcrafted work that celebrates the natural beauty of timber through traditional techniques and mindful making.
As you enter his cozy, rustic studio through barn doors, you are met with the intoxicating smell of woodfire and the collection of timber species, collected over the years, each piece with a story.
A wooden shave horse stands quietly next to a German inspired workbench, and a lathe in the corner by the Coonara.
With stunning views over the Warburton Ranges, visitors can witness the quiet artistry and warmth of true craftsmanship.

“I draw inspiration from the organic and natural world and have a deep love for the material I’m working with, acknowledging its beauty and preciousness."
