Glenn makes both functional and decorative ceramics and much of her current work references regeneration.
She is largely a vessel maker and works with soft colours and textures, natural forms inspired by seedpods, and the lines and patterns of nature to interpret her environment.
These elements contribute to her understanding of the continuous yearly cycles of the natural world. Glenn works on the pottery wheel using a variety of stoneware clays and translucent porcelain. Her work is fired in a gas kiln, and she strives for a sustainable workplace, recycling materials and conserving energy. Glenn has a special interest in glazes and their interaction with textural surfaces.

“I have been working with clay for over 40 years. I enjoy the rhythm and meditative aspect of working on the wheel. Clay gives me a vehicle to express myself. I often work on several themes simultaneously, with one morphing into the next. The line between my functional and decorative ceramics is often blurred, with my inspiration reflected in both."
