24. Glenda Wise

Glenda is a local artist, illustrator, author and adventurer, and has been a private art tutor for over 37 years.

As a writer, her book, ‘The World is Your Pearl’ covers her extreme adventure travels, while her watercolours of Pearl Fairies appear alongside quotations and sayings in her ‘Pearls of Wisedom’ books, and her Fairy Green characters can be seen in four children’s books.

Glenda’s private studio is a tranquil working space where her large oil paintings line the walls, and where she currently produces drawings and watercolour illustrations for her children’s storybooks, cards and games. You may see the large easel taken directly from that of Sir Arthur Streeton, whose studio she worked in before she had a space of her own.
