Anna L. Heatherley is a fine artist who primarily works with acrylic on paper. Her current focus is on developing a new body of work, inspired by personal challenges she faced earlier last year that prompted a profound creative shift.

Through bold colours and expressive figurative forms, Anna tells layered stories about human nature, interpersonal connections, and meaningful synchronicities.

Anna’s studio sits on land that was once a potato farm, surrounded by a green and calming garden where visitors can enjoy a cup of tea made from herbs picked fresh from the garden. It’s a small room in her home, but it’s full of creativity and stories. She will be showcasing her work in the large brick-walled lounge room, while in the studio visitors will be able to see works in progress and the very first sketches that show how this new direction began.

“Since last year, I’ve shifted my artistic direction, creating bold figurative works that explore our shared humanity, alongside vibrant abstract pieces that play with colour, texture, and form. By stripping away external differences, I reveal the universal emotional palette beneath the surface, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the stories and energy in each work."
