Skübz’s painting is informed by a blend of influences including animation, comics, graffiti, portraiture and abstraction, whilst his sculptures seek to breathe new life into discarded objects and waste materials.

Themes of freedom, rebellion and psychonautic travails are infused with a sense of nostalgia to form the foundation of much of his work.

In the main studio, Skübz works primarily with paint and brush to create his paintings. Finished works are on display for visitors, alongside art prints and custom clothing representing his individual style.

“Creativity allows us to nurture and express our inner spirit and connect with the world in a myriad of interesting and unexpected ways. I believe it's a pillar of happiness that is often passed over by many people, and I'm passionate in helping others discover their own expressions of creativity in whatever form it may take.”

Down in the “Boiler Room” workshop, a growing collection of found objects and
materials are sorted and stored before being combined into sculptures using grinders, saws and drills.
