Volunteers

Volunteers get the best view of the Lantern Parade, and help make it happen!

We are now seeking volunteers to fulfil the role of 'Street Marshal', and many other roles (see below) at the Lantern Parade. 

If this role interests you, or you would like additional details about how you can actively contribute in any capacity:

It would be impossible to stage the Lantern Parade without our community of wonderful volunteers!
Up to 100 volunteers are required to produce a successful event.
Volunteers contribute in a multitude of ways that are essential to stage the parade,
and also to support those performing key roles in the production.

Volunteers are assigned specific tasks in a variety of areas after consultation with the volunteer co-ordinator and are needed in the days & weeks before the parade, and again on the night & days after the parade.
