Burrinja offers a diverse range of tasks and activities for volunteering at the Centre, with a main focus on front of house / reception and administration.

Burrinja takes its responsibilities to volunteers seriously, as it requires the work of volunteers to provide an operational base for the Centre's activities.

The Centre gives its thanks to the many volunteers who so generously give their time and skills to make possible the operation of Burrinja. Their commitment provides a gauge of community support and direct feedback mechanism with the community at large.

Most visible of our volunteers are our rostered Reception staff. They provide the first point of contact with the Centre for many visitors and those calling to make enquiries or bookings. Thus, their presence is vitally important to us.

The Centre also has many less visible volunteers who help behind the scenes.
